• Digital prepress - scanning and preparing digital files for high resolution offset film output
• Planning and estimating book production from digital film to plate/press and binding
• On committee for selecting artists-in-residence (six artists per year are selected from approx. 200 proposals)
• Other production responsibilities
           —operating and maintenance of Heidelberg offset press, film stripping, platemaking

JAB was founded in 1994 in order to provide a forum for critical inquiry into artists’ books. Two issues were published each year for a total of twenty issues. Subscribers include individuals and libraries at Harvard, Yale, NY MOMA, UCSD, U. Penn, Princeton, etc., as well as international institutions in the U.K., Australia, France, Germany, and Canada.
